Eilat Water Sports and Extreme Water Sports

Extreme Water Sports

While many tourists go to Eilat just to soak up sun on the beach and swim, Eilat offers a wealth of water sport and extreme sport activities that are action-packed ways to spend the day.

Eilat’s favorable climate of year-round sunshine, beautiful Red Sea location, and the relative quiet of the sea waters make it ideal for many different types of water sporting activities.

Peaceful and relaxing Eilat sport choices include kayaking, row boating, and pedal boating. Tubing in Eilat – doughnut-shaped inner tubes pulled along by a motorboat – is a little more adventurous.

Eilat Parasailing

Feeling the urge to fly? For those seeking the ultimate adventure, Eilat offers parasailing, an extreme sport that allows you to fly in a parachute 40-70 meters (25-44 feet) over the sea. A moving motorboat pulls you while you’re strapped in a sea parachute until you rise like a kite. Landing is usually effected by being pulled back gently to the deck of the towing boat. Emergency landings can be in water instead.
