Eilat Israel is one of the world’s main diving centers, featuring beautiful diving spots in and around the Coral Reef Nature Reserve. Diving points of note on the Coral Reef include the Dolphin Reef, the Japanese Gardens and the large Moses and Joshua rocks. Outside of the Reserve are other diving points of interest, including sunken vessels. Diving in Eilat is THE way to experience deep sea scuba diving.

Eilat Diving Schools

If you’ve never gone diving or snorkeling, you should not try it without professional guidance. Snorkeling should be done only in places where there is no danger of being hit by boats. Because sailboats can travel fast without making any noise, they are especially dangerous to snorkelers. Diving and snorkeling should never be done alone.

Red Sea Scuba Diving
The following are some of the established places in Eilat where you can take diving lessons and rent equipment.
Red Sea Lucky Divers are on Coral Beach and they offer an introductory dive in shallow water for people who do not have time to enroll in a regular course. After being picked up from your hotel, you’ll spend about an hour and a half getting intensive personal lessons from a Padi instructor, who will then take you on for an underwater Red Sea scuba diving experience for 30 minutes in shallow water.
Nemo is located on Coral Beach and is unique in offering instructions to very small groups where one can get a lot of individual attention. Nemo also offers basic and advanced underwater photography courses.
Coral Sea Divers is right on Coral Beach. Besides offering professional basic and advanced diving courses they will help you find accommodations in Eilat and will pick you up for free from your hotel in the morning.
Aqua Sport is near Coral Beach and is one of the oldest scuba diving schools in Eilat with 45 years of experience. It features dive boats that can travel to all kinds of interesting places.
Red Sea Snorkeling
Divers Village, located across from the Coral Reef Nature Reserve, is a great place for families and offers diving lessons of all categories to children from age 7. Red Sea snorkeling and diving gear can be rented. Besides the beautiful shaded seating areas, wireless Internet access and buffet, there are a few rooms available for accommodation. Eilat Coral Reef
Deep Siam is located right on Coral Beach, close to the Coral Reef Nature Reserve. Dive to the coral reefs to experience the beautiful sea creatures of the Red Sea. Deep Siam consists of two diving schools: Siam is a scuba-diving school with courses for beginners up to advanced diving instructors. Deep is for certified divers and offers technical courses in Trimix, Nitrox and decompression dives. For further information call (08) 632-3636.
Snuba is close to the Egyptian border and to the Caves diving points. It has a unique feature for diving using an air buoy that remains in a boat while the diver can be nearly 20 feet (6 m) beneath the sea. This frees the diver from having to wear a heavy tank.
