There is nothing like shopping in Tel Aviv, where you can check out the array of shops, boutiques, markets, and malls. It’s one of most fun things to do in Tel Aviv, whether or not you’re actually looking to buy anything.
If you are shopping for food, the fruit and vegetable markets have the freshest, most delicious produce you’ll find anywhere, all at rock-bottom prices. At the same time, pick up some fresh bread, rolls, pita, and yeast cakes for dessert. And don’t forget to pick up some Tel Aviv souvenirs as gifts to take back home.

1. Jaffa Market
At the Jaffa Flea Market you will have to sort the junk from the treasures… What you will find are old clothes, pots and pans, carpets, Israeli style jewelry, and antiques. Recently renovated and cleaned up, there are also some pleasant cafes and restaurants in the Jaffa Market now.

2. Nachalat Binyamin Market
Visit the Nachalat Binyamin Market on a Tuesday or Friday when there is an arts & crafts fair where local artists sell everything from jewelry and paintings to toys, ceramics, and Judaica. There are also street entertainers to add to the fun atmosphere.
3. Carmel Market
Mostly frequented by locals, the Carmel Market has the reputation of being the best place to purchase fresh produce (great quality, low prices). There are also clothing and footwear stalls.

If you’re looking for gifts to take home, Tel Aviv shopping offers a wide range of options for every budget. Gifts made in Israel are especially popular, such as anything with an Israeli flag or Hebrew writing on it: a pencil case, key chain, snow globe (paper weight), baseball cap, table placemats, baby clothes, or a necklace with their name in Hebrew.
For adults, consider Tel Aviv souvenirs and Judaica items such as a mezuzah case, Kiddush cup, challah board, or something more neutral, like Israeli hand-painted glassware and tea towels/tablecloths with Israeli motifs. Dizengoff Center
This Tel Aviv mall was Israel’s first. The Dizengoff Center opened in 1979 at the intersection of King George and Dizengoff Street. It houses over 420 stores and eateries with enough variety to satisfy anyone. Whether you’re looking for clothing boutiques, bookstores, shoe stores, household goods, souvenir kiosks, or simply something to eat, it’s all here. One of its greatest pleasures is that everything is located under one air-conditioned roof.

HaTachanah
For some really different gifts, check out the shops in HaTachanha, the new entertainment center in southern Tel Aviv. You will find it where Neve Zedek meets the main road and just opposite the beach. In addition to its many shops and restaurants, you’ll discover an interesting toy shop with mind-challenging puzzles and games, exhibitions, jewelry, household stores, cafes, and restaurants. To date none of the eateries have a kashrut certificate.
