Israel Eilat Attractions: What to Do in Eilat

Ice Space
Eilat Ice Space
Surprisingly,this first attraction allows you to go from scorching heat of Eilat to below-zero North Pole temperatures. If you desire a day away from the beach or you just want to escape from the scorching heat, go to Ice Space, where you will need to wear a winter coat, hat, warm socks, gloves and shoes – all of which are provided at the door. Only children age 3 and over are admitted.
On display are over 150 tons of ice sculpted into all kinds of fascinating ice sculptures including polar bears and penguins. Illuminated with beautiful lights in various hues, the sculptures look like translucent glass as the colors shine through them. There is an icy music room with frozen instruments, and you can take an exciting sled ride down an 18-meter (59-foot) ice slide. An underground cave will allow your family to warm up a bit from the frigid temperatures.

Kings City
Kings City Eilat
An all day fun-filled attraction is Kings City, a fascinating Biblical theme park inside an air-conditioned castle. Here kids will enjoy the hands-on activities portraying Biblical events. One of the most exciting amusements is King Solomon Falls – a boat ride through seven caves depicting Biblical scenes about King Solomon’s life, ending with a waterfall and a splashing arrival into the pool outside the building.

At the Beach
The House of Laughter – House of Mirrors is a lot of fun for the entire family, with 15 mirrors that distort the image of those looking in them. The result? Lots and lots of laughter. Israel Eilat Trivia: Did You Know?
You can also visit an old Texas Ranch (complete with horses and camels) in Eilat. Located across from the Coral Beach site for glass-bottomed boats is an old movie set that was once used to film a western.
